Each airport treats group vehicles its own way

Schiphol has coaches loading at the Koepelstraat arrival passage, roughly a five-minute walk. Budapest's tourist buses gather at a bus terminal just a minute or two's walk from the halls. Berlin lets only vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes into the terminal pick-up zones. Each airport page shows you where the vehicle will be waiting and how far the walk is.

Late landings and driving hours

A late long-haul arrival often means a tired group and a long road. EU rules cap how long a minibus or coach driver may drive and require breaks, so a transfer at the end of a full day of touring may need a fresh driver.

Questions

What happens if our flight is delayed?

Let the operator know as soon as you can. Some airports have waiting areas for group vehicles, such as P41 at Schiphol, where coaches may wait up to six hours.

Can one vehicle collect passengers from different flights?

Yes, if the landings are close together. Otherwise two smaller vehicles are often kinder than keeping everyone waiting.

Will the driver meet us inside the terminal?

It depends on the airport. At Paris-CDG, pre-booked drivers wait in each terminal's Parking Pro to greet clients, and at Vienna everyone exits through one arrivals hall.
