Meeting points in the T1 and T2B arrivals halls
El Prat has two terminals. Terminal 1's meeting point sits on Floor 1, inside the arrivals hall, while at Terminal 2 you will find it on Floor 0 of the T2B arrivals hall. Your driver or group host will find you there, and it is a good place to count heads before anyone wanders off for coffee.

Where the coach or minibus loads
The vehicle itself waits somewhere slightly different. At T1, group coaches load one floor down from the meeting point, on Floor 0 Arrivals. Terminal 2 coaches use T2A docks 41-51 and 1-10, or docks 21-33 at T2C. The operator will tell you which dock to head for, so keep that message handy on landing.
The drive into the city is about 15 km and usually takes 25-45 minutes, depending on traffic and whether you are staying in the Eixample, the Gothic Quarter or out towards Diagonal Mar.
Zona Bus 4.0: why a minibus needs a permit too
Zona Bus 4.0 came into force in Barcelona on 26 January 2026. Under it, a daily Zona Bus permit is required for every vehicle with nine seats or more, the driver's seat included, so a 16-seat minibus needs one just as a coach does. Stops at La Pedrera, Sant Pau, MNAC, Sagrada Família or Park Güell must be reserved in advance, and the driver logs each arrival and departure in the SPRO app. No Zona Bus stop may last longer than 10 minutes.
Those ten minutes shape the day. Ask your group to be ready at the door with bags in hand, and the drop-off goes smoothly. There is also the ZBE Rondes low-emission zone: between 07:00 and 20:00 from Monday to Friday, a bus or coach inside it has to meet Euro 4 at least, and the operator sees to that.
Straight to the ship or to Fira Gran Via
The Port de Barcelona cruise terminals are about 15 km from the airport, typically 20-30 minutes. Vehicles may set down passengers and bags at the terminals but may not park there, so the driver unloads and moves on. Heading to a trade fair instead? Fira Gran Via lies beyond Barcelona proper, over in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat.
