Group transfers for Europe's big events
Some dates fill every hotel and every vehicle in town. If your group is heading to one of them, book the transport when you book the rooms.
The dates to plan around
Munich's Theresienwiese hosts Oktoberfest from 18 September until 3 October 2027. In Venice, Carnival starts on 23 January 2027 and closes on Shrove Tuesday, 9 February. MWC Barcelona fills Fira Gran Via over 1-4 March 2027. The Christmas markets all open in November: Vienna's Rathausplatz on 13 November 2026, Munich's Marienplatz on 20 November and Prague's Old Town Square on 28 November.
Why event days need their own plan
Crowds change things on the ground. There is no parking at the Theresienwiese, coaches in Venice stay under ZTL BUS rules through Carnival, and the MWC venue lies outside Barcelona in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat.
Questions
How early should we book for Oktoberfest?
As early as you can. The Theresienwiese has no parking, and the ZOB Arnulfstrasse coach park nearby is usually full.
Can we visit several Christmas markets on one trip?
Yes. The Vienna, Prague and Munich markets overlap from late November to Christmas, and one vehicle with a driver can link them.
Can you arrange daily shuttles to MWC?
Yes, between your hotel and Fira Gran Via on each day of the congress.
