Lisbon's airport is close to the city, which makes for one of the shortest transfers on the continent. The one thing to settle early is exactly where you and your driver will meet.
No published meeting point, so it is fixed beforehand
There is no official meeting point for chauffeurs or coaches at Humberto Delgado Airport; ANA Aeroportos de Portugal, which runs it, does not publish one. That is not a problem, but it does mean the detail has to be sorted before you fly. Once the booking is confirmed, the operator tells you where the driver will be and how to find them, whether you are two people or a group of forty.
Lisbon has two terminals, 1 and 2, so check which one your airline uses and include it with your request.

A short hop into Lisbon
Only about 7 km separates the airport from the city, and the drive usually takes 15-30 minutes. That makes Lisbon ideal for a same-day plan: a morning arrival can be followed by lunch in Chiado or a stroll down to the Baixa and Praça do Comércio.
A minibus suits most family and club groups, with a rear compartment for suitcases. If your hotel is up in Alfama, the historic hill district, ask the hotel where vehicles usually stop and pass that on to us.
ZER emission zones and hotels on the Avenida
Lisbon's ZER is enforced between 07:00 and 21:00, Monday to Friday. Zone 1 takes in the Baixa and Avenida da Liberdade and asks for Euro 3 or better. Zone 2 stretches further, out to the area bounded by the Eixo Norte-Sul and Avenida Ceuta, where the minimum is Euro 2.
The operator supplies a compliant vehicle, so for most groups this is simply reassurance. It does explain why the vehicle type matters when the hotel is on the Avenida or in the Baixa, and why an older vehicle would not be offered.
To the cruise terminal or out to Sintra
The main cruise terminals are by Santa Apolónia and Alfama, about 9 km from the airport, typically 15-30 minutes. Groups who want to begin with a day out can head first to Cascais or Sintra, both roughly 30 km from Lisbon, and check in at the hotel in the evening.
