Miaoulis and Themistocles terminals
Cruise ships berth at Terminal A, Miaoulis, and at Terminal B, Themistocles. Close to the cruise terminal there is an open parking area for tourist coaches, which suits a group transfer. When a ship anchors offshore, the port authority ferries passengers to the terminal free of charge, so either way you meet the driver on land. Give the ship's name when you book so the driver goes to the right building.

From Athens International Airport
From the airport to Piraeus is about 45-50 km, normally 45-60 minutes. Pre-booked vehicles meet passengers alongside the Short Term 1 car park or within the pick-up zone on the level of Arrivals, and drivers whose flights are running late can wait in the airport Retail Park. If you sail on the same day you land, leave plenty of margin.
The Acropolis on sailing or landing day
Many groups fit the Acropolis in between ship and flight. The site runs on timed-entry tickets, so book a slot that leaves room for traffic either side. The Acropolis Museum below the south slope and a walk through Plaka pair naturally with it. With bags already on board the vehicle and a driver waiting, it becomes a proper farewell to Athens rather than a dash.
On a longer stay, the Corinth Canal and Cape Sounion each lie 1-1.5 hours from Athens, and either makes a fine half day before or after a cruise.
